Arts Dojo Rules
-
Make
a standing bow upon entering and leaving the dojo.
-
Gi's
(uniforms) should be clean and mended.
-
Never
use someone else's equipment without their permission.
-
Respect
those with more experience. Never argue about techniques.
-
It
is every student's responsibility to keep dojo clean.
-
No
gum chewing once entering dojo.
-
Never
drink alcoholic beverages while still in your Gi.
-
Remove
shoes before entering practice area.
-
Respect
the teachers, their assistants, and your fellow students.
-
When
Shihan Rodriguez enters a room, the highest rank will call for attention,
all present bow as he enters.
-
Be
loyal to yourself and others--leave your egos at home.
-
Do
not enter or leave the practice area without permission from the person in
charge. (Bowing in/out.)
-
Do
not remove your belt until you have been excused from the practice area, and
always remove your belt before leaving the dojo.
